Back in Orlando

Well my week long “vacation” in Chicago is over. The weather was horrible. I learned a lot about what I want out of life from this trip, so it wasn’t all bad.

Strangely Speaking

So this should get filed under assisting my New Years resolutions, particularly under being more confident. Reading Lifehacker today and found a post on talking to strangers. Now with the job I currently have, and previous jobs I’ve held, it’s not a problem to talk to a stranger. In my social life though, it’s another story. Lets see if this helps at all.

Just so you are all aware, I understand my writing is crap. I’m working on it. I guess this goes to add onto my new years resolution of blogging more. It’s not just to blog more, but become a better blogger.

No one has said anything yet, but I figure put it out there before people judge. If you have any sugestions to make, I’d be more than happy to listen to them.

Who the hell designed this place anyway?

Taking my sister back to school means a two and half hour drive to Normal Illinois. Nothing terribly interesting ever happens on the drive.

Yesterday was supposed to be uneventful. Or at least I thought it was supposed be. But children kicking, and overactive anticipation of eight inches of snow, and my mom making my eye twitch already leads me to believe this is going to be an interesting week.

And the saga goes on

My appologies. I keep starting to write new posts and never finish. I blame my work schedule.

I’m on vacation for the next week ish. I should be able to at least complete something by then.
